Still, nothing is keeping the firm away from its aspirations on the road and the auto giant has gone ahead and created a special edition Exige that has been dubbed 2014 Lotus Exige LF1 Inspired by the F1 team, one will find a host of special features on the Lotus Exige that has always been one of the favorite sports cars. The supremely designed logo has always oozed sportiness and aggression and the special-edition model references the company’s success in Formula One. The customers are reminded of the immense success the auto company has enjoyed as a sports car.
The special edition model comes with impressive credentials and pumps out 345 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque because of its 3.5-liter, V-6 engine. Accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 170 mph. Unique modifications and upgrades ensure that the LF1 remains as exclusive as a sports car. Exige LF1 is extremely lightweight with the scales tipping at just 1176 kg. We find two versions of the Lotus Exige LF1 in two separate locations. European-spec model is a left-hand-drive while the right-hand-drive version of the model is meant for London.
